It's Sunday

I just finished attending a Holy Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral located along Smith Street. The Homily message is about how important is Mother to every family and how she mold his children to be a good citizen and respect one another.

It was I opening to me. I was not attached to my biological mother eversince I was born . When I was I child my mother gave me to my Grandparents, who take care me for 24 years. I was a love child - My father have his own family and as well as my Mother.

That's why the only mother I know is my Grandma. I don't know what is the stories of my parents and what happened to them. I very lucky I have a Grandparent, who help me achieved my dream. I really miss them so much.

Anyway, I don't want to be emotional after the mass I went to Mcdonald still along Smith Street for my awesome breakfast. Hope to explore the Darwin City this afternoon.

See you then.

Welcome to Darwin

For almost 7 hours flight from Auckland via Melbourne I finally arrived in Darwin City, the capital of Northern Territory. As soon as I walked out from the Airport I started to sweat.

With a 32 degree Celsius and humidity of 55% compared to Auckland City , 12 degree Celsius. Anyway, I'm going to explore this tropical city and excited to see the famous Jumping crocodile and other Top end tourist attraction.

By the way, my name is Mariel Ivone, 20 years old originally from Bohol in the Island of Philippines. Then, my family migrated in 2000 in New Zealand I studied at the University of Auckland and completed Bachelor of Visual Arts and currently finishing Doctor of Philosophy in Arts.

Can anyone tell me about NT and what I expect to see. Off to my Hotel
